There is nothing more savage than turning small children into human bombs.

On New Years Eve, a 10 year old female suicide bomber blew herself up at a market in Maiduguri, Nigeria, critically injuring at least one person.

Boko Haram is believed to be responsible for the attack, as they have a history of using female suicide bombers in their terror attacks.

Earlier in December, two young girls, 7 and 8, blew themselves up at a market in Maiduguri, Nigeria, killing one and injuring 17. The bombing was the work of Boko Haram.

Just days before the New Years Eve attack, an angry mob lynched a female suicide bomber to death in Nigeria after her suicide vest failed to detonate. The suicide bomber was one of two women who security forces believe belonged to Boko Haram. After one of the women successfully detonated her vest, the second woman was discovered by a mob, lynched, and police quickly disarmed her vest.

Boko Haram terrorists have killed thousands of people and have displaced millions in their quest to create an Islamic state in Nigeria, while carrying out attacks in other African countries as well. Like ISIS, Boko Haram (which means “Western education is forbidden” in the Hausa dialect of Nigeria) strives to eliminate western influence and implement Sharia law through terror.

“Nigerian girl, 10, used in suicide bomb attack on New Year’s Eve”

INDEPENDENT, January 1, 2017

A female suicide bomber believed to be no more than 10 years old has seriously injured another person when she blew herself up in a New Year’s Eve attack in Nigeria.

The attack, which took place in the north-eastern city of Maiduguri, is believed to be the work of Islamic extremist group Boko Haram, who are notorious for using female suicide bombers to target civilians.

Witnesses said the young girl was buying noodles from a stall in the Customs area of the city at around 9.30pm on Saturday when she detonated her explosives.

“The girl walked towards the crowd but she blew up before she could reach her target,” Grema Usman, who lives in the area, told the AFP agency.

“(Judging) from her corpse the girl was around ten years old,” Mr Usman said.

The girl reportedly died instantly, while another person was hit by shrapnel.
